A real feast is in store for film lovers in Rome this October. Between the dates of 13 - 21 October, the Festa Internazionale di Roma is coming to Rome to showcase some of the best that cinema has to offer. Aiming to get the whole city involved in the event, this is not just aimed for seasoned film-buffs but for people who have perhaps never been to a film festival but simply love films.

There will be a whole host of events taking place such as exhibitions, panel discussions, shows and much more to enjoy as well as having fifty members of the public to judge the films on offer and assigning the all important awards.

There will be up to twenty screens to watch the films themselves in a range of venues across the city and Rome's auditorium - Parco della Musica at the heart of the event, with conference rooms, areas to mingle with key players in the festival and four screening theatres with state of the art equipment.

Don't miss the opening gala at this very auditorium, in the Santa Cecilia Hall on 13th October (20:00), as presenting the world premiere of Fur, by the American director Steven Shainberg, is none other than world famous actress Nicole Kidman.
